Oh Canada, it's been a while. The last time I found myself in Vancouver B.C., I was on an epic road trip with my pal Katie. We stopped for less than 24 hours, just long enough to get our feet wet. I thought, and still think, it is a strange city. Beautiful, but strange. Erik and I decided to have a Canadian adventure over Valentine's weekend. We booked a cute little Air bnb overlooking the waterfront and away we went!
We didn't plan much aside from Valentine's dinner at the Flying Pig in Gastown, so most of the trip was spontaneous, which was nice. I mean, we had ideas of what we wanted to do but mostly made it up as we went. One of the best things we did was visit Stanley Park, which is just adjacent to downtown and has a ton to offer. There was an aquarium that we didn't visit, a restaurant, a lighthouse, totem poles, beautiful views of Lions Gate Bridge and downtown. Basically, it was a chance for us to take some killer pictures. Erik just got a DSLR, so he's been excited to test it out, and this was the perfect chance. We both got some great shots, which you can check out below. Dinner was very fabulous. My favorite thing we did was visit a delicious Ramen place that hand makes its ramen noodles. Yeah. Baller.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back there at some point in the future. XO.
