Lemonade
I love me some Queen B. And while I realize music is quite subjective, there is no denying the power and influence Beyoncé has had on the industry and on our culture, which is why I am so inspired by her. I was floored when the Lemonade album and film came out. The messages and themes she delivers are so relatable, emotional, and raw. The words she crafted along with those borrowed from other artists and poets carry so much weight and value. I’m so thankful for this beautiful music.
I created this project and presented it at the Amazon ArtWalk, which is an internal event I participated in as an artist and committee member. The response was really lovely, and I was asked to commission a couple of prints.
